Definitions

This document sets forth the ZETES Online Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy") for this website, (the "Site").

This Privacy Policy covers ZETES treatment of personally identifiable information (the “Registration Data” or the “Personal Information”) that ZETES collects when the visitors (the “User(s)”) of this web site (the “Site”) are linked to this Site and/or use ZETES’ services through this Site.

The Registration Data and Personal Information are defined as any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains.

All Registration Data and personal Information that ZETES collects and maintains will be subject to the version of the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of such collection.

This Privacy Policy also covers ZETES’ treatment of any Registration Data or Personal Information that ZETES’ business partners share with ZETES or that ZETES may collect on a partner’s site.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that ZETES does not own or control, or to people that ZETES does not employ or manage.

If the Users have objections to this Privacy Policy, they should not access or use this Site.

ZETES reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy from time to time at its sole discretion, without notice. If as the result of such changes, any User of the Site wants to alter the ways in which ZETES is allowed to use his Registration Data and/or Personal Information, he can do so by following the procedure described below in the section titled "Access and change to Registration Data and Personal Information."

The User will be deemed to have been made aware of, and will be subject to, the changes to the Privacy Policy by his continued use of the Site after such changes.

If at the time the User provides Registration Data or Personal Information to ZETES, the aforesaid User is given the opportunity to limit how such information will be used to communicate with him, either by ZETES or by third parties. ZETES will not change their preference in this regard without their express consent.

However, if ZETES sells assets (or the assets of a division or subsidiary) to another entity, or ZETES (or a division or subsidiary) is acquired by, or merged with, another entity, ZETES may provide to such entity customer information that is related to that part of the Users’ business that was sold to or merged with the other entity without their consent.

The Users of this Site can engage in several activities without providing any Registration Data or Personal Information.

In connection with other activities, such as subscribing to the services offered on the Site or utilizing online software applications, ZETES may ask the Users to provide certain information about themselves by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for them to engage in these activities. If the User elects to engage in these activities, however, ZETES may ask that the User provide Registration Data or Personal Information, such as the first and last name or the company name, mailing address (including ZIP code), e-mail address, employer, job title and department, telephone and facsimile numbers, and so on. When ordering products or services on the Site, the User may be asked to provide a credit card number. Depending upon the activity, some of the information that ZETES asks the User to provide is identified as mandatory and some as voluntary. If the User does not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, he will not be able to engage in that activity.

When using the Site, ZETES or third parties authorized by ZETES may also collect certain technical and routing information about the User’s computer to facilitate their use of the Site and its services. For example, ZETES may log environmental variables, such as browser type, operating system, CPU speed, and the Internet Protocol ("IP") address of the computer.

ZETES uses these environmental variables to facilitate and track the use of the Site and its services. ZETES also uses such environmental variables to measure traffic patterns on the Site.

When the User submits Registration Data or Personal Information to ZETES through this Site, they understand and agree that the data and information may be transferred across national boundaries and may be stored and processed in any of the countries in which ZETES and its affiliates and subsidiaries maintain offices.

The User also acknowledges that in certain countries or with respect to certain activities, the collection, transferring, storage, and processing of information may be undertaken by trusted vendors, services or products providers and business partners of ZETES.

ZETES may, at its sole discretion, establish relationships with various service or product providers whose services may be available to the Users of this Site or from Web sites that are linked to this Site. Typically, these providers may offer services or products that ZETES’ customers might find useful, such as those that can be used in conjunction with ZETES services and products. In order to use those services or order such products, the Users may be required to provide Registration Data or Personal Information to the providers.

Unless expressly provided to the contrary, Registration Data and Personal Information that the Users provide while they are visiting a provider's Web site will be subject to the privacy policy posted on such site, and Registration Data or Personal Information that they provide while on this Site in conjunction with a provider's service will be subject to the Privacy Policy of such provider.

The agreements between ZETES and these service or product providers may foresee that such providers will share with ZETES Registration Data and Personal Information collected from the Users of this Site. In such instances, ZETES may use the data and information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.

ZETES collects data and information about the Users for three main purposes: to customize the content of the Site, to fulfill the Users’ requests for certain products and services, and to contact the Users about specials and new services or products.

If the User subscribes to a service or registers a product, for example, the information is used to register their rights, if any, to technical support or other benefits that may be made available to registered Users. As another example, if the User enters a contest, information is collected to qualify the entry and contact them regarding the contest or prize awards. The Registration Data and Personal Information are also used to keep the Users informed about product upgrades, special offers, and other products and services of ZETES and selected third parties.

ZETES may collect information about the use of the Site, such as the types of services used and how many Users the Site receives daily.

This information is collected in aggregate form, without identifying any user individually. ZETES may use this aggregate, non-identifying statistical data for statistical analysis, marketing, or similar promotional purposes

ZETES recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of information collected on this Site.

Without consent, which may be implicit, ZETES will not communicate any information to anyone regarding products, services, and special offers available from ZETES, although ZETES may find it necessary to communicate with the User regarding their use of the services on this Site.

Except in the particular circumstances described in this Privacy Policy, ZETES will also not provide the name of the Users to other companies or organizations without their consent.

There are other instances in which ZETES may divulge personal information about the Users of the Site. ZETES may provide personal information if necessary, in ZETES' good faith judgment, to comply with laws or regulations of a governmental or regulatory body or in response to a valid subpoena, warrant, or order, or to protect the rights of ZETES or others.

The Registration Data that the Users provide in connection with registering themselves as Users of ZETES products or services or registering a ZETES product is classified as “Registration Data”.

Registration Data is protected in several ways.
Individual Users may access their own User Registration Data through a password, account number or personal code, or a unique customer ID selected by the aforesaid User.

ZETES recommends that the Users do not divulge their passwords, account numbers or personal codes to anyone. In addition, the Registration Data resides on a secure server that only selected ZETES personnel and contractors have access to via passwords, to prevent unauthorized parties from viewing such information when it is transmitted to ZETES.

Personal Information provided to ZETES that does not constitute Registration Data also resides on a secure server and is only accessible to selected ZETES personnel and contractors via passwords. Since this information is not accessible by Users, they will not be asked to select a password, an account number or a personal code to view or modify such information.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, any information an User posts to a public bulletin board or chat room, such as the ZETES Forums (the "Forums"), is available to all persons accessing that location.

The e-mail address of each User may be automatically posted on the Forums, and will be available to all persons accessing the Forums. In addition, the Forums may offer a service in which subscribers are e-mailed a copy of all messages posted to the Forums on a particular topic. Consequently, if the Users post messages to the Forums, their e-mail address will be sent to those subscribers that have indicated an interest in the message topic.

When the User visits this Site, they can browse the Site and access certain areas of the Site without revealing their identity.

To improve the Site, ZETES may, at its sole discretion, use "cookies" or other tracking technologies to track the visits.

A cookie is a small amount of data that is transferred to the User’s browser by a Web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to the aforesaid User.

Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. The User can set his browser to notify him when he receives a cookie, giving him the chance to decide whether to accept it.

For some Web pages that require an authorization, cookies are not optional. Users choosing not to accept cookies will probably not be able to access those pages.

While ZETES may use cookies to track the visits to the Site, and our Web servers may automatically log the IP/Internet address of the User’s computer, ZETES does not use this information to identify each User personally.
Once the User closes his browser, the cookie simply terminates.
Other tracking technologies used by ZETES may record information such as Internet domain and host names, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browser software and operating system types, clickstream patterns, and dates and times that the Site is accessed.

The use of cookies and other tracking technologies by ZETES allows ZETES to improve the Site and the web experience of the Users, subject to the principles and provisions set forth in this Privacy Policy.

The users have the right to access and correct their Registration Data and Personal Information.

In the correspondence, the Users are asked to indicate with as much detail as possible the location on this Site where they provided the personal information.

If the User believes that ZETES has not complied with this Online Privacy Policy with respect to his personal information or he has other related inquiries or concerns, he may write to ZETES at the address indicated above.

The User is requested to describe in as much detail as possible the nature of his inquiry or the ways in which he believes that the ZETES Online Privacy Policy has not been complied with. ZETES will promptly investigate such inquiry or complaint.

If the User provides ZETES with inconsistent privacy preferences ( for example, by indicating on one occasion that third parties may contact him with marketing offers and indicating on another occasion that they may not),

ZETES cannot guarantee that his most recent privacy preference will be honored.
ZETES is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of non-ZETES Web sites to which this Site or any other ZETES Web site may link. The User should review the privacy policy of such sites before using the sites.
